More suited than ever to all types of use, the new Relay comes with engines that combine performance and efficiency.
The new 2.2 Diesel engine is available in two powers, 140 bhp and 180 bhp, combined with a new 6-speed manual gearbox. For the first time, an 8-speed automatic transmission is available as an option with the BlueHDi 140 and 180.
To meet the needs of professionals who are keen to adopt sustainable mobility while reducing their day-to-day costs, ë-Relay now has an all-new 100% electric powertrain.
Ë-Relay's previous 90 kW/122 bhp engine has been replaced by an electric unit that develops 200 kW/270 bhp, with torque significantly increased from 260 to 400 Nm. In addition, the 37 and 70 kWh batteries have been replaced by a single 110 kWh model, giving a WLTP range of up to 261 miles.
The performance and range of the new ë-Relay can be optimised depending on conditions thanks to 3 driving modes: NORMAL for versatile use (power limited to 160 kW), ECO for optimum range (power limited to 120 kW) or POWER for maximum performance (total power of 200 kW). In addition, paddles located just behind the steering wheel activate 4 levels of regenerative deceleration, enhancing driving comfort and range.
ë-Relay is fitted as standard with an 11 kW on-board charger.
An 11 kW wallbox can fully recharge it in 12 hours. While using a 150 kW rapid charging point, 55 minutes is enough to charge the battery to 80%.
The new Citroën Relay is available in a wide range of configurations to meet all the needs of professionals. With two wheelbases available (3.45 m and 4.04 m), the panel vans come in three lengths (L2, L3 and L4) with a total of 6 different body styles featuring volumes of 10 to 17 m3 . To serve as a basis for special conversions, the new Relay with its 4.04 m wheelbase is also available in L3 or L4 single cab chassis and double cab chassis.
