​Box conversion provides fully enclosed van bodywork, featuring a regular shaped load floor without wheel arches taking up floor space. It makes the Built for Business Box conversions well suited to palletised loads or bulky but comparatively lightweight items best transported in a closed body. 

Built for Business Box van bodies are chassis-mounted behind the PEUGEOT Boxer cab and constructed from light but strong composite panels on a galvanised steel and aluminium frame. This construction method is designed to provide a long working life matched to the maximum payload capacity. Payload can be boosted by around 80kgs by selecting the optional lightweight construction offered with all Built for Business Box conversions.

The PEUGEOT box van’s interior comes with standard fittings to protect the body panels from damage and provide highly effective load security. A kick strip fitted to the base of the box van’s front bulkhead and both sides helps to guard against accidental damage. Standard fit load locking strip and tie rails, fitted at two set levels on the body sides give a choice of load securing options. The treated birch plywood flooring provides a hard-wearing base while helping to keep body weight as low as possible.

A lightweight alloy roller shutter door with locking handle is fitted as standard to the rear of the box body van, as are an LED interior light and external marker lights. Other standard equipment includes plastic wheel arch fittings incorporating spray suppression mud flaps. The optional tail lift makes it easy to load the vehicle with either a fork lift or pallet truck.

Optional box van equipment includes a 500kg capacity tail lift, rear barn doors in place of the roller shutter and additional load securing tracks, rails and lashing rings. Options from the PEUGEOT Boxer range include Grip Control, PEUGEOT'S five-mode traction control system to improve traction over a range of surfaces including snow, mud and sand. A speed limiter can also be specified for the model.

Five solid cab paint colours are available; Bianca White, Clipper Blue, Dragoon Blue, Volcano Red and Horizon Yellow and a further two metallic colours Aluminium and Graphite Grey.

The Built for Business Box conversion is available in two versions based on the Boxer L3 and L4 single cab. L3 models offer up to 16m³ of load space, while the longer L4 models provide a generous 20m³. Using standard construction, payload is 983kg* for L4 models and 1,051kg* for L3 variants.

*Payload (excluding driver) is calculated including oil, water, lubricants, tools, spare wheel and 90% full fuel tank. When calculating the payload, an average figure for the driver is 75kg (Please note: drivers’ weights will vary). Additional passengers and accessories must be taken into account. It is the operator’s responsibility that the plate weights are not exceeded. Please note: Masses and Dimensions are subject to 8% engineering tolerances.
