The PEUGEOT Expert and PEUGEOT e-Expert boost the modular and multi-energy EMP2 platform, offering you the freedom to choose between a diesel of full electric powertrain. With its optimised architecture, the new PEUGEOT e-Expert effectively offers a similarly spacious load space and the same driving position as in a combustion engine version.
The 100 kW motor (136 bhp) provides instant acceleration with its immediate torque of 260 Nm in Power mode, as well as the pleasure of flexible, dynamic and quiet driving.
The new PEUGEOT e-Expert integrates a high voltage battery. With a choice of capacity of either a 50 kWh offering a range of up to 143 miles WLTP, or the 75 kWh offering a range of up to 205 miles WLTP. The battery is guaranteed for 8 years or 100,00 miles for 70% of its charge capacity.
A number of charging solutions are available to help you make the most of the new PEUGEOT e-Expert’s up to 205 miles (WLTP) of range. Two types of on-board chargers are available, for all customer uses and charging solutions, a 7.4 kW single-phase on-board charger as standard and an 11 kW three-phase on-board charger as an option.
Charging from a Type 2 (Mode 3) dedicated electric vehicle charging Wallbox is our recommended way to charge your electric vehicle. The necessary cable for Type 2 (Mode 3) charging is provided as standard with the vehicle.
To benefit from our recommended faster charging solution, a Wallbox is required. PEUGEOT has chosen to partner with Pod Point, meaning you can benefit from an installation tailored to suit your home and individual requirements . You may also be eligible for UK Government subsidies via the OLEV Grant .
You will need to buy an accessory cable if you wish to charge from a domestic 3-pin plug socket as an alternative charging option, however we do not recommend this as an every day charging solution.
The cooling system of the battery enables you to use 100 kW chargers and means you can obtain a 0-80% charge in 30 mins .
The majority of public charging points in the UK are Type 2 (Mode 3)sockets, which will charge your vehicle at the accelerated charge times listed, depending on the power of the charging point and your on board charger.
For more information about public charging points found across the UK, visit www.zap-map.com
PEUGEOT offers you a free 6 month subscription to bp pulse , the UKs largest public charging network. When you create a bp pulse account, simply add your PEUGEOT electric vehicle VIN number as the ‘offer code’.
The electric e-Expert van offers three driving modes :
Activating the "Brake" mode (engine brake) can reduce the use of the brake pedal and charges the battery as you decelerate. Two braking modes are accessible:
