Technical Information

Based on three wheel bases (3m, 3.45m and 4.04m), the panel and window van versions are available in four lengths (L1, L2, L3 and L4) and three heights (H1, H2 and H3), for a total of eight body styles ranging from 8 to 17m3 in load volume.

2.2l HDi 130 and 150

These engines respectively develop 96 kW with torque of 320 Nm at 1,800 rpm, and 110 kW with torque of  350 Nm at 1,750 rpm. These characteristics make them ideal for multi-drop urban use as well as for longer journeys.

2.0l BlueHDi

As part of the approval process, the new 2.0l BlueHDi engine spent over 10,000 hours on a test bench and was test driven for over 1,300,000 km. The exhaust system uses the PSA Group’s additive particulate filter system, over 10 million of which have been manufactured since 2001. The engine also includes a direct fuel injection rail with optimised pressure of 1,800 bars.

BlueHDi is the name given to the PSA Group’s Euro 6 diesel engines, allying efficiency with fuel economy. This technology slashes nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by over 90%, while also reducing CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.

The arrival of Stop & Start technology on all these engines contributes to one of the lowest levels of fuel consumption on the market. Fuel savings rise by a further 0.5 l/100 km in the city, with an average reduction in CO2 emissions of 5g/km over a combined cycle.

Particulate filter

The particulate filter technology featured on all PEUGEOT Boxer engines cuts pollutant emissions to barely measurable levels while maintaining engine efficiency.

Technology & Safety

The PEUGEOT Boxer has a wide range of efficient features designed to simplify driving while keeping you and your passengers safe.

Hill Descent Control

Hill Descent Control technology works in tandem with the standard ESP and intelligent traction control. It lets the driver maintain a constant speed of below 18mph and keep the vehicle under control on a muddy or gravelly slope with a gradient of at least 8%, without touching the accelerator or brake.

Reverse Camera

For an even safer and more precise driving experience, the PEUGEOT Boxer van is available with a reversing camera.

As you manoeuvre the vehicle, this function transmits pictures of the area behind your Boxer to the touchscreen and guides you using a system of coloured lines.

For greater safety, the screen lights up automatically when the rear doors are opened or when you put the vehicle into reverse.

The new 5" touchscreen is used primarily for the navigation system.

The SMS text reading function and Connecting Box contribute to a relaxed driving experience.

Driving Aids

  • A new programmable cruise control/speed limiter function lets you enter a setting to maintain or limit vehicle speed;
  • Standard ESP with Hill Descent Control, an optional function linked to intelligent traction control. This function lets the driver maintain a constant speed of below 18mph and keep the vehicle under control on a muddy or gravelly slope with a gradient of at least 8%, without touching the accelerator or brake;
  • Load Adaptive Control adapts ESP to the level and distribution of the vehicle load. It keeps the vehicle on course in critical situations;
  • With the tyre pressure monitoring function, each wheel is equipped with a pressure sensor to identify a puncture or loss of pressure;
