WARNERS – Doing Our Part to Keep You Safe

We understand that this news may be unexpected, and we want to reassure you that WARNERS is fully committed to supporting all affected customers as quickly and efficiently as possible.

We have a clear plan in place and are currently replacing around 30 airbag units per day at each of our Citroën workshops in Tewkesbury and Gloucester. In addition, Citroën technicians will also be visiting customers at home, replacing affected units directly on driveways where possible.

To ensure everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask that you follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the Citroën Recall Portal BOOK HERE
  2. Enter your VIN number – you can find this 17-character number (starting with VR7 or VF7) on your V5C registration certificate.
  3. Complete the online contact form – your details will be forwarded to us the next working day. A member of the WARNERS team will then contact you to arrange your free replacement.

Our phone lines are currently very busy, so following the above process will help us book your replacement more quickly and efficiently.

At present, we are booking appointments approximately three weeks in advance, but this may improve as the availability of replacement airbags increases.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding during this exceptional time. Thank you for bearing with us as we work to get every customer back on the road safely.

Warm regards,

The WARNERS Citroën Team

Stellantis Notification

Stellantis UK announces an immediate stop-drive action for all Citroën C3 (second generation) and DS 3 (first generation) vehicles manufactured between 2009 and 2019 equipped with Takata airbags. Owners of such vehicles should immediately cease using their vehicle when safe to do so.

Vehicles included in this new stop-drive action in the UK, were already part of an ongoing comprehensive recall campaign that started over one year ago, first in Southern Europe and then expanded northwards. Recall decisions, especially stop-drive actions, are based on multiple factors, including airbag specifications, vehicle age and usage, climate conditions, and notifications from regulatory authorities.

Whilst there have been no reported instances in the UK, Stellantis has decided to deploy a stop-drive order for all impacted vehicles across Europe including the UK. This decision underscores the Company’s unwavering commitment to customer safety.

All affected customers will be notified by letter. Customers can also check if their vehicle is affected and what actions are advised by using the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) check tool on the Citroën UK website above. If impacted, they should register their vehicle to enable the processing of their repair as soon as possible.
