How does CHERY Super Hybrid work?

A CHERY Super Hybrid is an advanced plug-in system featuring a higher-capacity battery and more powerful electric motors, designed to prioritise electric drive for a quieter, more responsive experience.

Unlike standard hybrids, its larger battery allows for a longer pure electric range, while built-in regenerative braking captures energy as you slow down to keep your battery topped up on the move.

The battery is constantly topped up by the petrol engine and through regenerative braking while you drive.

Electric First

The car stays in EV mode for your local trips. When the battery runs low, the 1.5L turbocharged engine kicks in seamlessly to act as a generator or drive the wheels.
