OMODA UK has completed a real-world endurance challenge across nine European countries with its flagship plug-in hybrid SUV, the OMODA 9 SHS, driving more than 730 miles on a single battery charge and one tank of fuel.
The route, which began in the UK at the white cliffs of Dover, spanned nine countries including France, Germany, and Austria, and exceeded the WLTP estimate of 700 miles without the need to refuel.
Powered by a 1.5-litre TGDI engine, dual electric motors, and a 34.46 kWh M3P battery, the OMODA 9 delivers a combined 449 PS and 700 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-62 mph in 4.9 seconds.
The hybrid SUV completed the route with fuel still remaining in its 70-litre tank, demonstrating the real-world viability of the model’s Super Hybrid System across a range of terrains and traffic conditions.

The OMODA 9 is designed for long-distance comfort, featuring a 24.6-inch curved screen, acoustically optimised cabin, and 660 litres of boot space, rising to 1,783 litres with the rear seats folded.
With six drive modes and all-wheel-drive capability, it has been engineered to handle diverse road conditions while offering luxury-focused features including heated and ventilated reclining seats.
Priced at £44,990 on the road, the model is now available to order across OMODA UK’s 75-strong dealership network. It comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty and an 8-year battery warranty, plus RAC Home Start cover as standard.

Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
